86259, outward leg of The Cumbrian Coast Express, 07.08 London Euston-Carlisle (1Z86, RT), Victoria bridge
The first Cumbrian Coast Express charter of the year passes
Victoria bridge between Ashton and Roade hauled as usual by 86259' Les Ross/Peter Pan'. The AC electric that looks absolutely superb in the early morning sunlight would haul the 1Z86 charter all the way to Carlisle (arriving bang on time by the way) for 45690 'Leander' to then lead the train along the superb and much underrated Cumbrian Coast route to Carnforth.
