Class 116 DMU set P319, unidentified down service, Whimple good yard I was under the impression that DMUs were not particularly common on the L&SWR route between Salisbury and Exeter the route more normally being associated with locomotive-hauled services. A Class 116 DMU set number P319 is seen arriving at Whimple with a service heading towards Exeter. If anybody can advise me as to what service this could have been please do get in touch via the contact me link at the bottom of the page. This is not a very good quality photograph but in fairness it was one that I rescued from the reject box largely due to its subject matter.
