Looking across the Avon Valley near the village of Freshford a diverted HST is seen heading towards Paddington. It has just crossed a small viaduct with the River Avon going underneath just beyond which the Rover Frome joins. In the foreground is the curiously named Elbow Cottage with the Kennet and Avon Canal between it and the railway. Three cars are parked around the cottage, a Renault 4, a ubiquitous Cortina and a two door VW Golf Mk. 1.
