Commuters, London Paddington station I fired off a number of photographs around Paddington station whilst waiting for our train home back to Westbury. Some of these images worked better than others with a number not making it from the rejects box! Here two passengers rush for their train on the concourse negotiating their way through the other workings of the station. Notice the suited passenger clutching his attaché case, something any self-respecting commuter would have. Also, notice the large advertisement for the Imperial Life insurance company at the top of the photograph. This company, dating from 1896, is still trading but not under this name that disappeared in 2001 with the company now owned Sun Life Financial of Canada.
