Rail Operations Group's 57312 heads south through Roade cutting working the 09.11 Derby RTC to Wembley Yard light engine move running as 0H72. I was intrigued as to what this veteran of the network would lead back northwards half expecting it to be one of Orion Logistics unit drags. However, the northbound service that I had my eye on for the Class 57 was cancelled soon after this photograph was taken.

UPDATE....UPDATE.... The next day 57312 towed former TfL Rail EMUs 315854 and 315844 for scrapping from Ilford Depot to Newport Docks (Sims). They were pictured making their final journey along the GWML with the Class 57 upfront by Martin Loader (aka Hondawanderer), see..... http://www.hondawanderer.com/57312_Challow_2022.htm
