Reproduction wooden running in board, Freshford station Freshford station in the glorious Avon Valley is the second nearest station to my childhood home near Bradford-on-Avon. However, I rarely used it all those years ago due to it being located, rather inconveniently, on the other side of the River Avon with no suitable place to cross and access it. The station is now nicely and carefully looked after, very different from what I remember in the 1970s, now complete with this reproduction GWR-style running-in board.
