There had been a lot of activity in what can only be described as a virtual quarry in the yard adjacent to Norwich station with bulldozers sorting and piling what appeared to be ballast. Veteran 56103, dating from December 1981 was one of the Doncaster built machines that the best of the once extensive class built but it does look a little plain and sad looking in this plain livery with no branding. Note the floodlights and stands of Norwich City's Carrow Road silhouetted against the sky with the sun now having set.
