The full-body vinyls have recently been applied with this power car previously carrying advertising promoting Singapore Airlines of all things! 43163 was the rear power car of the 10.32 Swansea to Paddington service that collided with a stone train at Southall on 19.09.97. It survived but the leading car, 43173, was cut up. Unfortunately, seven people died in the crash.
