43046, outward leg of The Royal Highland Pullman, 07.39 London St. Pancras-Inverness (1Z90, RT), Wellingborough station 43046 'Geoff Drury 1930-1999 Steam Preservation and Computerised Track Recording Pioneer' brightens up a very dull and wet morning at Wellingborough station leading the outward leg of the three-day Royal Highland Pullman charter. It is not clear in this photograph but it is actually on the MML down slow line that has recently been reinstated. With all the electrification paraphernalia the view is extremely cluttered and is actually better when viewing the fast line from the end of platform two. In addition, the innocent-looking sapling in the foreground will soon create issues unless NR does what it ought to do to all of its trackside, clear it as appropriate!
