Looking very smart in its Genesee & Wyoming livery 59202 leads the 7A09 07.12 Merehead to Acton loaded stone train. The train is passing Berkley just east of Frome in some lovely early morning autumn light. I must have stood in a very similar spot some forty three years previously, see..... https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/25473981604/x31294-weymouth-bristol-temple-meads. It is interesting to note how the town of Frome has spread and now encroaches on the skyline of this otherwise rural scene.
