Following their retirement from the network in the spring HST power cars and stock have been heading off in all directions for possible future use. Four power cars have ended up on the Severn Valley Railway not for use on the heritage line but simply in store. Following their short term storage and re-activation Colas Rail will then be operating them for use on additional Network Rail infrastructure monitoring trains. Last in use with East Midlands Railway, unusually still carrying the operator's vinyls, 43277 stands at Arley.
