Unlike yesterday morning, see.... https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/30018645553/x92010-20-45-inverness-19-50-fort where the train was in shadow today I picked my location with more thought in order to get the up Highland sleeper in the sun! Today also it was being led by 92020 wearing its brighter GBRf livery with the whole thing looking superb in the subtle early morning light. The 1M16 19.590 Fort William/20.45 Inverness to Euston arrived on time (six minutes early in fact!) for the second day on the trot following a run of very disappointing performances.
