 Due to severe problems in and around Euston Virgin trains were terminating some services early and then returning them north again. 22103 ‘Christopher Columbus’ is seen at Milton Keynes having been terminated earlier and now heading back as the 12.14 to Glasgow Central. Incidents such as this often afflict the railways, it’s part of their operational life, but the key to maintaining passenger confidence is communication. Sadly, this was missing today with my knowledge of the workings railway enabling me to make it to my destination via other routes rather than staff telling offering me advice and information.
