I had spotted this 5Z92 12.22 Willesden Yard to Crewe (LSL) empty coach stock working on my daily preview of 'trains of interest' passing near to my home but half expected it not to run. However, it soon became clear that it was all 'go-go-go' (with apologies to the late Murray Walker as this was the day of the British GP) so I downed tools at home and set out for a hot walk to Victoria bridge just south of Roade. I was not expecting the train to be double-headed with both 47828 and 47614 under power and had not anticipated the train being put on the fast line at Hanslope Junction. I did feel a little sorry for any fellow enthusiasts who had gone out to see the train on the Northampton loop only to see it on their mobile phones heading away past Weedon!
