60163, return leg of The Cheshireman, 16.13 Chester-London Euston (1Z65, 2L), Milton Malsor SP737561
Looking its usual resplendent self 60163 'Tornado' climbs hard away
from Northampton at Milton Malsor leading the return Cheshireman charter. Running as 1Z65 the train left Chester at 16.13 and was heading back to London Euston. This charter was to have run two days later on the coming Saturday but due to operational difficulties, it was brought forward. It is remarkable to think that 'Tornado' has been on the mainline for thirteen years now; where has all that time gone?
