A second view of Garsdale signal box situated on the

down platform of the station of the same name. This is a wild spot high up in the Yorkshire Dales at the head of Garsdale itself that stretches all the way from Sedbergh close to the M6 near to Kendal. On a summer's day such as this, despite it being dull and overcast it must be a benign place to be a signalman but on a wild and stormy night in January, it must be a very different proposition!
