The warning lights and the sounder have not seen any

action for some eleven years now with the line that crosses Fosseway level crossing not having seen any trains since the last, a weedkilling MPV, traversed the route in the sporing of 2003. There were concerns about the condition of the lovely LNWR signal box but there was evidence of some basic maintenance and note that the destructive ivy that had been encroaching and surrounding the structure has been cut back.
