My bike on-board 350116 as we wait to depart from

Northampton station to Rugby. Unless one has a folding bike, the carrying of bikes on modern trains is always seen as a bit of an issue with no proper provision made for them and strict limits on the numbers permitted. If the railways are to be a part of the new 'green deal' of fully intergrated public transportation then this really must change but do any TOCs have the drive to do this?
