carnage that ensued at this benign Scottish location during the early morning of 22.05.1915 when, following a disastrous chain of events, four trains were in collision with each other. The signal box from where the chain of events was created by signalmen Meakin and Tinsley was located to the far left directly below the second wind turbine.
