Corby station Living relatively locally it is a surprise that this is actually my first visit to Corby's 'new' station. This single-track affair opened in 2008 and now enjoys a regular return service to St. Pancras with the trains operating an all station stopping pattern. With the electrification of the MML approved it is likely that a second platform will be constructed to the left of this photograph as the line is going to be re-doubled. The railways of the East Midlands certainly appear to on the march! Keywords: Corby station
