On arrival at York station following the short morning walk

from our hotel, I was greeted by the 06.26 Edinburgh to King's Cross HST standing at platform three. At the rear of the formation was 43367 'Deltic 50 1955-2005' in its East Coast livery. When initially named by GNER in 2005 it simply wore vinyl graphics that committed the '50' part of the name receiving its attractive cast plates later.
