47237 & 60009, 14.30 Southall-Kidderminster (5Z64), Victoria bridge I have not judged this photograph quite correctly both in terms of the chosen spot and the actual positioning of the train! I had intended that both the piloting Class 47 and 60009 'Union of South Africa' should fit between the electrification masts but I have managed to clip the steam locomotive slightly! The empty coaching stock, running as 5Z64, left WCR's Southall base at 14.30 and was heading to the SVR at Kidderminster. The train is seen passing Victoria bridge just south of Roade in Northamptonshire.
