Andy and I had arrived at this location and were following the progress of 5Q26 but knew very little about it as the operator had obfuscated it meaning no progress was indicated on RTT or Rail Record. The 06.44 Eastleigh Arlington to Worksop Down Reception was conveying two superbly painted Grand Central sets of stock for further storage. The TOC had ambitious plans to operate Blackpool to Euston trains starting last September but COVID put an end to all of that!
