Market Harborough, following the route of the former line that was closed by BR in 1981, reveals quite a lot of former railway assets. With the railway fencing in the background is a milepost emerging from the undergrowth. Counting back reveals that the seven miles are from Northampton but not the station. Seven miles from this post is the location of the former steam shed (4B, closed 25.05.65) in the town's Far Cotton.
