 Another former Silverlink and London Midland member of the Class 321/4 subset is seen in its new Abellio Greater Anglia livery. 321429 arrives Hockely station forming the 17.25 Southend Victoria to Liverpool Street service. This route was electrified during 1956 using the 1500 DC system (as per the Woodhead route) however, was converted to the new standard of 25KV AC by BR in 1979. One of the original signalling gantries can be seen in this photograph that spans the line carrying the catenary. Incidentally, the feather on the colour light is for a cross-over just beyond the station.
