Frontage, Colchester station
Frontage, Colchester station
The station frontages of Colchester could not be more different. The southern side, seen here, is a classical structure typical of the Eastern counties that was built in 1865 to replace an earlier structure. The northern frontage is a concrete monstrosity dating from the 1960s and is not one of British Railway's finest buildings!
