With the old station building still functional and in use

it is somewhat dwarfed by the new one to the right that is having its cladding attached by the workers in the cherry picker. The new footbridge will join to the station structure at the far end above where the workers are located. The mud-covered road in the foreground used to give access to the station's long stay car park.
