With the introduction of the S stock approaching its competition,

the withdrawal of the 1970 C Stock continues apace. I was pleased to see car 5578 leading set 072 at Paddington and promptly took the Circle Line working the short distance to Edgware Road. This could well be my last journey in a C Stock train.
