A late afternoon line up at King's Cross sees some of East Coast's finest machinery awaiting their next turn of duty. To the far left is 91110 'Battle of Britain Memorial Flight' waiting to work the 17.30 to Newcastle. Next is 91132 that is just getting away on time with the 17.03 to Leeds. 91113 has recently arrived with a service from the north with 43307 (formally 43107) having done the same a short time earlier. I cannot help but feel that the rather monotonous blue shade of grey of East Coast is a little dull but it is a state-owned public sector operation so it is not surprising really is it!
