Enamel, New Holland Pier station An enamel sign at the top of the ramp from the pier down to the loading pontoon on New Holland Pier station. This was one example of much pre-BR signage scattered around the pier and the station. Whilst this sample appears to be a British Railways origin sign the font does not look quite right to me and the non-flanged nature perhaps suggests that it could be of LNER origin?
