Bowesfield signal box (NER, 1905) A rather rushed photograph taken from the passing DMU at some speed sees the large Bowsfiled signal box. This was, and still is for that matter, at the far eastern end of the triangle of tracks where the Middlesbrough line meets the Durham coast route just south of Stockton-on-Tees.
