172336 bangs its way along the West Coast mainline passing Roade as the 14.12 Tyseley to Ilford 5Q50. Judging by the row it was making it had a severe wheel flat on the leading bogie that would have made for an unpleasant journey for the driver in the cab. It was making the long journey to Ilford to take advantage of their wheel turning lathe which, I believe, is the only one in existence now in the south of the country. What a shocking indictment of our 'modern' railway!
