All change at Norwich! Since my last visit to Norwich some two years ago the station has been transformed at least in terms of the trains. Gone are the rag-bag collection of units and, of course, also gone are the BR era Mk.IIIs hauled by Class 90s shuttling to and from Liverpool Street. In the place of the latter are the Class 745 Stadler units that are now in squadron service. The rear of the 15.30 Norwich to London Liverpool Street 1P49 leaves Norwich in the pouring rain worked by 745010 with the guard taking in the view from the rear cab unable to undertake his usual ticket checks due to COVID restrictions.
