Greetwell Junction signal box (GN, date not known) On the eastern outskirts of Lincoln close to the city's main cemetery and crematorium, Greetwell Junction was where the former GER and GNR joint avoider line swept south to rejoin the mainline again at Pywipe Junction. The box was a superb and substantial Great Northern structure but without its nameboards that was abolished when the avoider line was closed shortly after this photograph was taken.
