Neilson's Sidings signal box (Mid, 1893) Neilson's Sidings signal box (as opposed to Neilson Sidings) is seen next to the Midland Mainline just north of Wellingborough's Finedon Raod sidings. The box is a superb and very well kept Midland 2B box that had just over another seven years in service until closure came as the so-called 'missing link' of mechanical signalling on the MML was replaced by MAS signalling.
