222012, EM 09.31 London St. Pancras-Sheffield (1F17, 2E), Loughborough station I am not absolutely convinced by EMR's new purple livery that is certainly a little different and reminiscent of Porterbrook's mid-noughties paint scheme. After initially only painting one of their Meridians, EMR are now moving through the class with more losing their East Midlands Trains' paint scheme. 222012 arrives at Loughborough station working the 09.31 St. Pancras to Sheffield service that we took to its destination. It's interesting to note that there is already evidence of the previous operator's colours on the fibreglass chin below the coupling gear on this recently repainted set!
