Despite having its red destination blinds on display, DEMU 1128 will soon be heading away from Westbury towards me with an unidentified evening working to Salisbury. On the adjacent platform two, a refurbished Class 101 DMU waits on a Weymouth train that will be the last one of the day. Westbury North signal box is seen lit at the end of platform three. These Southern Region units were common on Bristol to Portsmouth services in the late 1970s but by this time their use had diminished.
