45041 'Royal Tank Regiment' worked to Paignton a little earlier and is now seen returning to Newton Abbot with the empty coaching stock composed entirely of twelve Mk.1 coaches. In the late afternoon spring sunshine, the train makes a fine sight as it passes Aller Junction taken from the farm occupation bridge that, unfortunately, has now been removed as part of the A380 relief road construction. The new dual carriageway was opened in 2015 after numerous delays and passes immediately to the left of the train obliterating the allotments and the lovely trees behind the signal box.
