50015 'Valiant' sits in the morning sun on Westbury depot. The Class 50 was 'knackered' according to a member of staff who allowed us to walk around the depot with impunity. Named two years previously, 50015 would soldier on for another four months, no doubt failing on numerous other occasions, before being sent north to Doncaster for its refurbishment.
