Still looking very smart following its eponymous naming just overa month previously 33008 'Eastleigh' arrives at a bright and sunny Bradford-on-Avon. It was named in commemoration of it being one of the Class 33s that hauled Lord Mountbatten's funeral train on 05.09.79 from Waterloo to Romsey. Mr. Brush and I took this train, the delayed 06.53 Bristol to Portsmouth Harbour, as far as Westbury. |
