The land behind the tall poplar trees belongs to The Mount School, a Quaker independent day and boarding school for children of all ages. 55002 is preserved today and in working order again being part of the National collection. After languishing at The National Railway Museum for many years the Friends of 55002 KOYLI got it operational and haulage behind this fine locomotive can be enjoyed today on various preserved lines.
