An unidentified West Midlands Trains Class 172 makes its way

down the WCML back home to its base at Tyseley. The unit left Ilford depot running as 5Q66 after having wheel turning on the only lathe capable of undertaking this work; what utter madness is that! I chose this spot as there was full cloud but just as the train approached the sun managed to find some thinness in the cloud thus creating tricky backlighting that needed considerable Photoshop treatment - how ironic!
