M56352 and M51192 gets underway away from Weybourne station with the last service train of the day, the 16.20 Holt to Sheringham. The scene at the superbly restored Weybourne station is dominated by the latticed iron footbridge, typical of many East Anglian stations. This particular example was rescued from Stowmarket station when it had to be removed with the arrival of electrification in 1982. It was dismantled and brought to Weybourne to be rebuilt, minus its rudimentary roof, in 1990. However, Weybourne station never had a footbridge during its earlier operational life with passengers using a foot crossing. Ironically, Sheringham station did have a bridge but now does not; something that I am sure will be rectified soon.
