31289, stabled, Pitsford & Brampton station Having not seen any use for some months now long-term resident 31289 'Phoenix' stands at Pitsford and Brampton station sandwiched between other stock. Numbered at first as D5821 and released into traffic in 1961 the Brush Type 2 was initially a northeastern based locomotive then moving to the Midlands where it spent the rest of its working career.
