For the third week on the trot, the 13.50 Daventry to Mossend service has initially travelled south to then head north along the ECML to Scotland due to engineering works in the Borders. This brings the rather rare sight of a Class 88 working a train on the southern WCML. Having left Daventry some thirty minutes previously, 88002, 'Prometheus' leads the relatively short train just south of Roade at Victoria bridge with no Class 68 tucked in behind as was the case last week, see.....
