Østerport station is located in the northern area of Copenhagen

and was originally a terminus for the coastal line from Helsingør. Now it is a busy commuter interchange with passengers arriving and moving on from the S-Line and DSB with a bus terminal at street level. In the next few years, there will also be an integrated Metro station linking in from both the City Circle Line and M4.
