This particular unit entered service on 2011 having been built by the Italian builder AnsaldoBreda and penned by world-famous designed house Pininfarina. As an illustration of the problems encountered with these sets, the contract between DSB and the manufacturer was signed in 2001 with it taking a whopping twelve years for the last one to be delivered! As has been stated elsewhere, with only fifty per cent availability at any one time the only ones who benefit from this debacle are the lawyers!
