Looking as though it's had a bit of a spruce up, 90001 'Crown Point' leads the 5Z90 08.42 Norwich Crown Point to Crewe past Milton crossing between Roade and Blisworth in Northamptonshire. This is a repeat run of yesterday's train, see..... https://www.ontheupfast.com/p/21936chg/28963065804/x90002-08-42-norwich-crown-point but the location and lighting today is much improved. As per yesterday, the train is formed of redundant Greater Anglia assets that have been disposed of to Locomotive Services Ltd. They are making their way to Crewe for further use or, in the case of the stock, probably scrapping. Having expressed surprise that yesterday's locomotive retained its nameplates, I am even more surprised that 90001 retains its 'Crown Point' plates. Having been the place that 90001 has spent its last fifteen years or so I thought that staff there would have removed them and apply them to a wall in the depot before LSL took the locomotive?
