Camelon Station is located in the north-western suburb of Falkirk

and, indeed, its first station that closed 04.09.67 was named Falkirk (Camelon). The present-day station is a short distance west of the first one and opened in 1994. 170394 arrives with the ScotRail 12.58 Dunblane to Edinburgh service. In the next few years services are to be transformed with the arrival of electrification and new units operating the frequent services.
