Perth power signal box (BR, 1962) The railways around Perth station have always been complicated and a bit of a signalman's nightmare! In 1962, British Railways completed a pretty comprehensive re-signalling of the whole area. They built the Perth power signal box on the site of the former south shed and abolished no less than seven mechanical boxes within the station area.
